Lone Oak Intermediate

Duro-Last Prefabricated membrane overlay.

During this project we worked directly with the school district to provide a solution that would balance their performance and budget needs. We provided a fit for purpose solution through the TIPS cooperative that resulted in over $300,000.00 in savings.

The solution was a Duro-Last roof overlay. Mitigating the need for costly tear roof tear off. Arial Thermal imaging highlights the temperature difference between the new Duro-Last roof we installed and the neighboring EPDM (black rubber) roof next door. The HVAC units on the EPDM roof will consume a much greater amount of energy (higher electric utility bill) to effectively condition the space below. The EPDM roof is nearly 70 degrees hotter than the Cool Duro-last roof above.
